Dustan Harley was born less than a mile from the Saint Joseph River and can’t remember a time when he wasn’t on the river fishing. He grew up fishing on the rivers of Indiana and Michigan and is lucky enough today to spend most days on those same rivers. He founded Ripple Guide Service in 1999 to give fishermen an unforgettable experience. He guides the rivers of Indiana and Michigan for steelhead, salmon, trout, smallmouth bass, pike, and just about anything else that swims. Dustan has also spoken to fly fishing clubs from Tennessee to California. When not on the river, he can be found fishing with his children or designing new flies for the fish he loves to fool.
Jake has been an integral part of Ripple Guide Service since he was brought in as our second guide. He is a patient teacher and isn't afraid to think outside the box to find fish. He has mastered the art of guiding and loves nothing more than watching his clients pick up new techniques or fool fish in a tough situation. If you get a day in his boat consider yourself lucky and soak up all the information you can. When not on the water Jake can be found at Fatbelly Deli or with his two children Josie and Wyat.
Nicholas was raised on the rivers he guides. He is the fifth generation of the Harley's to fish the Tippecanoe River for pike! From the time he could walk he was on the water. He caught his first trout on a fly he tied himself when he was just six years old and has fished extensively in the Michiana area as well as Montana. Spending most of his life in a house full of guides it was impossible for information not to rub off on him. When not on the river he loves to play music and has played all over the country.
